End Cancer.

Terms of Use

Last updated: 2026-06-04.

This is a plain-language v1 draft to set expectations for early users. It is not legal advice and is pending professional review.

These terms govern your use of End Cancer (the “platform”). By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the platform.

What the platform is

End Cancer is a community platform for oncology innovation — an innovator catalogue, a way for members to request introductions, and a twice-yearly online pitch competition. It is a place to connect; it is not an investment service, a broker, or a provider of medical, legal, or financial advice.

Who can use it

You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a binding agreement. When you register or build a profile, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you think your account has been compromised. We approve profiles before they appear in the catalogue and may decline or remove a profile at our discretion.

Your content

You keep ownership of everything you submit. By submitting it, you grant us permission to store it and to display the parts of your approved profile that you have marked for the catalogue, so the platform can function. You confirm you have the right to share what you submit and that it isn’t unlawful, misleading, or infringing.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation;
  • scrape, harvest, or bulk-export other members’ data;
  • use introductions or member contact details for spam or unrelated marketing;
  • upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content, or attempt to disrupt the platform.

The pitch competition

Eligibility, deadlines, and selection are described on the platform and may change. Decisions about applications, shortlisting, and finalists are made by the organisers and mentor committee at their discretion. Taking part is not a guarantee of funding, introductions, or any particular outcome, and nothing here is an offer or solicitation of investment.

Introductions are not endorsements

We help members find each other; we do not vet the merits of any organisation, person, or opportunity beyond a basic approval step. Any dealings that follow an introduction are between the parties involved, at their own risk and due diligence.

Availability and liability

The platform is provided “as is”, without warranties, and may change or be unavailable at times. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from your use of (or reliance on) the platform or any introduction made through it.

Suspension and termination

You can close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or remove access if these terms are breached or to protect the platform and its members.

Changes

We may update these terms as the platform develops and will post the new “last updated” date above. Significant changes will be communicated to registered members.

Governing law and contact

The governing law and jurisdiction will be confirmed before launch. Questions about these terms? [email protected].
